PremierMRO Dayton Approved as Starlink Dealer for High-Speed Inflight Connectivity

With Starlink, PremierMRO offers a new level of onboard communications capability to operators of smaller business aircraft. Starlink provides high-speed, worldwide connectivity more typically found on the largest, ultra-long-range jets.

“Business never stops, which is why we are very pleased to offer this new option to our maintenance customers,” said Josh Birmingham, CEO of parent Premier Private Jets. “Operators can stay connected with office and clients from the moment of engine start.”

The new Starlink system is certified for installation on King Air 200 and 300 series aircraft, as well as Citation 560XL series aircraft, plus the Citation X and X+.

Starlink offers the advantages of larger, more expensive Satcom systems:

  • High speed connectivity for video conferencing and streaming.

  • Global coverage. It works even in remote regions.

  • Low latency helps with smooth, real-time communications and secure VPN connections.

  • Continuous availability: it operates as soon as the system is activated. Users can start communicating with it before even taxiing from the ramp.

“We think that Starlink is going to make a huge difference for on-board productivity at lower cost,” said Birmingham. “We’re excited to be able to offer it to our many current customers and to operators new to PremierMRO.”
