/G450 Joins Elite Air Charter Certificate
Elite Air recently began chartering a Gulfstream 450, one of the most coveted aircraft in private aviation. The new heavy jet will be based at St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport (KPIE).
The G450 is an intercontinental business jet capable of carrying up to 14 passengers. Gulfstream aircraft feature leading edge technology, and the GV series, which includes the 450, epitomizes the manufacturer’s attention to detail and optimal performance standards.
The G45 is one of the best-selling business jets of all time. It has a maximum range of 4,350 nautical miles and an industry-leading time-between-overhaul (TBO) of 12,000 hours. Honeywell’s auxiliary power unit delivers one of the most dependable and highest performing APUs on the market, and the G450 features the PlaneView cockpit, derived from Honeywell’s Primus Epic display systems, a comprehensive solution to make software upgrades fast and simple. The Gulfstream 450 also offers passengers a wide-cabin and Honeywell’s Ovation Select cabin management system, which allows passengers to control overhead lighting, watch their favorite movies, and more.
Elite Air Adds Fourth Florida-Based Legacy
Elite Air has added a fourth Legacy to its charter fleet, another 650 to be based at St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport (KPIE). Elite Air now has Legacy 600s based at KFSB and KPIE, and two 650s at KPIE.
The Legacy 650 can transport up to 13 passengers almost 3,500 miles, which can take them from New York to London or Los Angeles to Honolulu. The heavy jet features a fully enclosed lavatory and full-service galley, along with its three distinct passenger areas for best-in-class privacy. The Legacy 600 series is one of the most cost-effective charter platforms in the heavy jet class.
