The Oscars is an annual awards ceremony honoring the best in film and is one of the most highly anticipated events in the entertainment industry. This year, the 95th Academy Awards will be held in March and promises to be a star-studded event with the best and brightest of Hollywood in attendance.

Whether you're a film buff or simply looking for a luxurious getaway, attending the Oscars is an experience that offers luxury and thrills. Los Angeles, the city where the Oscars take place, provides a variety of attractions, from the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame to world-class dining and shopping.

If you want to make the most of your Oscar experience, consider staying in one of Los Angeles' luxurious hotels. From the Four Seasons to the Ritz Carlton, there's no shortage of high-end accommodations that will make your Oscars experience even more unforgettable. There are also many VRBO and Air BnB options in LA, but be sure you have transportation sorted out. The city is sprawling and having a vehicle could make your trip more relaxing, despite the traffic.

The Oscars ceremony is a spectacle of glitz and glamour, with celebrities walking the red carpet in designer outfits and jewels. The ceremony is held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and features performances from some of the biggest names in the music industry. While the area will be crowded during the festivities, don’t forget to look down intermittently and see one of the 2,500 stars that line the sidewalks commemorating Hollywood's most significant contributors.

You’ll have to have secured a nomination or been sponsored by two existing members of the Academy to get in the doors, but there’s plenty of opportunity to get dressed up and mingle with the stars. The public can enter a raffle for tickets to sit in bleachers adjacent to the red carpet. The raffle has ended for the year, but it isn’t all about the Academy Awards during Oscar season.

In addition to the main ceremony, there are several pre- and post-Oscars parties where you can rub elbows with the stars. For two decades, the annual Vanity Fair Oscar party has been a staple and boasts a dynamic crowd of actors, musicians, politicians, athletes, and all walks of life. Exclusive after-parties hosted by some of Hollywood's biggest names, such as Elton John, might be harder to get into, but you can always try.

Outside of the main events and after-parties, LA offers a variety of eateries and experiences you won’t want to miss. If you have time, get to Griffith observatory to get a look at the coast and understand the enormity of sprawling LA. Before you drive up, stop at Blu Jam Café for a bite and coffee. As you return for the afternoon, head to All Time for lunch. The chic eatery is right in Los Feliz, a few blocks from the entrance to Griffith Park, and has a dynamic menu. If you like Burrata, you won’t want to miss their Burrata Toast.
