The Air Charter Association Excellence Awards 2019

On October 16th The Air Charter Association welcomed nearly 400 guests to London’s historic Guildhall to celebrate the presentation of the very first set of Awards following the Association’s recent rebrand. Formerly known as the BACA Excellence Awards, these awards are presented annually and are contested by all areas of the industry, with the event attracting guests from all over the world.

This year there was a new award, the Sir Michael Marshall Award for Diversity in Air Charter and some refinements to the existing award categories, to ensure that as many aspects of air charter were included as possible.  Sir Michael, who sadly passed away earlier this year, led the renowned Marshall Group, founded by his Grandfather in 1909.

The Chairman’s Award was the final presentation of the day and it was entirely fitting that the award was made posthumously to Sir Michael Marshall, to recognise his considerable impact across all areas of the aviation industry throughout his lifetime.  The award was collected by Kevan Craske to a warm reception from the guests.   The complete portfolio of Award winners was as follows;
