Rectrix Fleet Now Approved for KDCA Flights
/Rectrix Aviation has received authorization by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to fly its charter jet fleet into and out of Ronald Reagan National Airport (KDCA). This designation follows the earlier TSA approval of Rectrix Aerodrome Centers at L.G. Hanscom Field Airport in Bedford, MA (KBED) and Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (KSRQ) as permitted departure gateways for general and corporate aviation flights to KDCA.
TSA security protocols were established after September 11, 2001. Only specific gateway airports, certain commercial airline carriers and even smaller group of private plane companies have met the security qualifications required to have access the KDCA airport.
